School of Medicine and Public Health

Sarah led a creative team of designers, videographers, photographers, and illustrators as the director of Media Solutions within the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Heath. They support the health sciences faculty, staff, and students communicate their message and capture their story. Below are some of the projects she had a direct role in designing and directing.

Signature Event Support

Sarah regularly consulted and worked with the SMPH signature events and strategic communications teams to ensure in-person and virtual events ran successfully. This support included participation in regular planning meetings, the creation of presentations to coincide with timed readings and keynote speakers, program design and print coordination, art direction of video production, pre-event testing/technology troubleshooting, as well as post-event recap/learning. Some examples of these annual events include Match Day, Commencement, White Coat Ceremony, New Faculty Orientation, and a series of diversity-focused events.

ForwardNursing Magazine

The School of Nursing communications team mails issues of their ForwardNursing publication each year in the spring and fall. Sarah’s role in this project included consultation and brainstorming, graphic design, and print coordination of the magazine which is circulated to about 14,000 alumni and peer institutions.
